Stokley's Services Inc

Founded in 1938 by the current owner's grandfather, Stokley's Services is a Chesapeake heating and cooling contractor serving Norfolk and Virginia Beach as well. It sells, installs, maintains and repairs air conditioning and heating equipment, and offers maintenance programs. The company installed air to air and water to air heat pumps in the 1970s and was among the first in southeastern Virginia to put in ductless mini-split air conditioners and heat pumps. Indoor air quality products include electronic air cleaners, whole house humidifiers and air quality analysis and treatment. Service is available 24 hours a day, and financing is offered. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted. The 1980s brought a push to train the next generation of technicians, and the shop is a smaller contractor that treats customers as people rather than numbers.
