HVAC Contractors in Amherst, VA

Amherst is a Blue Ridge foothills town in Amherst County, and the HVAC contractors on this page reach well beyond it. This page holds 7 businesses. Three are in Amherst County, two are in the city of Lexington, and the rest are in Buena Vista and Schuyler, so the area they serve runs from the Lynchburg side of the county to Rockbridge County.

Hickey Plumbing, Air & Electrical has the deepest review history, 4.8 from 789 reviews. It covers HVAC, plumbing and electrical work for homes and businesses around Lynchburg, Rustburg, Lovingston and the Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford and Campbell county areas. Its heating side handles repair, heat pumps, thermostats and humidifiers, and its cooling side does AC repair, custom ductwork, ductless mini splits and dehumidifiers. Parr's Heating & Air LLC works from Parrtown Road in Amherst on air conditioning installation, maintenance and repair for residential and commercial customers. It is rated 4.3 from 24 reviews, with 19 five star ratings and 4 one star ratings.

Buffalo Air Handling Co is also in Amherst, but it is not a home service shop. It manufactures custom air handling units, a line of work it traces back to 1878, so it suits building projects rather than a broken furnace.

A homeowner on the Amherst side of the county will find the Lynchburg and Appomattox pages useful, while someone closer to Rockbridge County will find the Lexington and Buena Vista businesses easier to reach. Hickey and Parr's both take residential and commercial customers, and Hickey adds financing and maintenance plans.
